My first post!
This is a baby blanket that I made for my cousins newborn daughter Halli. I used a thick worsted yarn from Hobby Lobby as the two main colors and a multi-colored yarn for the border. It’s the first blanket that I’ve made and I’m really proud of it. During the crocheting process I got questioned a lot by my younger family members who had never seen anyone crochet before. It was difficult to answer them when they asked “why?” I like to crochet, especially when I had my friends in the background snickering and calling me a grandma. None of them were laughing at the final product though, and now I have quite a few blanket orders being placed.
